Exhibition Center of Jinan Wanda Cultural Tourism City

In August 2016, Zhang Ke received an invitation from the Wanda Group headquarters to participate in a nationwide project bidding. On September 4, 2016, Ke successfully won the bidding and confirmed the project as the winning bid.

With the lotus flower serving as the theme, which is the city flower of Jinan City, the architectural design creates a dignified, symmetrical, and ingenious landmark building. It harmoniously accommodates the unique spatial form and functional layout requirements of the Wanda Exhibition Center while taking into consideration important implementation factors such as technology, materials, construction, and cost. Furthermore, the outdoor space is thoughtfully designed in conjunction with the foundation resembling a scroll featuring the Analects of Confucius. It incorporates elements such as a fountain pool, with the mountains' reflection on the lotus petals, emphasizing the cultural symbol of "one mountain, one spring, and one saint."
